Nevada law (NRS 618.983) requires supervisors and employees doing construction work to complete such training no later than 15 days after being hired, or face suspension or termination from their employer. Construction sites are considered any location at which construction work is being commenced or is in progress.

Supervisory employees must have completed an OSHA 30 Hour Construction course and received their course completion card, and construction workers must have completed an OSHA 10 Hour Construction course and also received their course completion cards. The only courses and curriculums acceptable are the construction industry safety and health courses developed by OSHA.

There is an $8.00 charge for the OSHA card that the attendee will receive about thirty days after completion of the course.
