Regulation LCB File No. R027-23 is a proposed regulation revising provisions of Nevada Administrative Code (NAC) Chapter 618 relating to occupational safety; removing provisions requiring the publication of certain notices in newspapers; revising the form in which recordings of certain hearings are required to be kept; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.
DIR is requesting input pertaining to the impact that changes in the Nevada Administrative Code (NAC) presented may have on your business. If it is determined that the proposed regulation is likely to impose a direct and significant economic burden upon a small business, or directly restrict the formation, operation, or expansion of a small business, then the agency will take any or all of the following actions:
- Insofar as practicable, consult with owners and officers of affected small businesses
- Consider methods to reduce the impact of the proposed regulation; and
- Prepare a small business impact statement and make copies of the statement available to the public at the public workshop hearing to be held pursuant to NRS 233B.061.
