Training and Class Materials
SCATS training classes are regulatory awareness courses with the goal of developing knowledge and understanding of OSHA and State of Nevada safety requirements. Safety and health training programs are designed to:
- Improve hazard recognition skills of management and employees
- Identify management activities employers can use to protect their employees from workplace hazards
- Enable a more efficient and cost effective business operation
SCATS training classes are not intended to replace employer site specific formal, documented, and hands-on instruction. Reference materials (i.e., manufacturer instructions, manuals, consensus and proprietary standards), presentations and evaluations of skills must be followed before the use of tools and/or equipment, as well as personal protective equipment.
