2024 WCS Loss Control Survey Report

2024 WCS LOSS CONTROL SURVEY
The Nevada Revised Statute (NRS) 616A.400 mandates the Division of Industrial Relations (DIR) to evaluate the loss control services provided by private insurance carriers offering workers’ compensation coverage to Nevada employers. To ensure compliance with this statute, the Administrator of the DIR has delegated this responsibility to the Safety Consultation and Training Section (SCATS).

In Nevada, maintaining workers’ compensation coverage is not just a recommendation—it is a legal requirement. This survey aims to streamline the process of obtaining coverage, making it easier for employers to comply with the law and protect their employees.

If you have any questions about workers’ compensation, assistance is readily available. Visit the official Workers’ Compensation Section (WCS) website at https://dir.nv.gov/WCS/home/ for comprehensive information, or contact the appropriate regional office:

  • Southern Nevada: 702-486-9080
  • Northern Nevada: 775-684-7270

SCATS and the DIR are committed to supporting Nevada employers in maintaining safe, compliant, and effective workplaces.
