COVID-19 Update | SCATS Closed to the Public Until May 4, 2020

As of March 16, 2020 SCATS will be closed to the public until May 4, 2020. (no walk-ins, no classes, and no consultation visits)

SCATS will be available by telephone during normal business hours.

A partir del 16 de marzo del 2020, SCATS estará cerrado para el publico hasta el 4 de mayo del 2020. (No habrá citas, clases, ni visitas de consulta)

SCATS estará disponible por teléfono durante el horario laboral normal.

Todd Schultz, CSP, CSHM, CPM

Todd joined the State of Nevada, Safety Consultation and Training Section (SCATS) as a Safety Specialist in September, 2004.  He progressed through the ranks to become a Senior Safety Specialist—Consultation in just three short years, becoming the department’s authority on OSHA general industry standards. 

In July, 2010 Todd Schultz was promoted to Consultation Supervisor of the Henderson/Las Vegas office with responsibility of managing seven senior safety consultants and two industrial hygienists.   That office conducts nearly 400 OSHA On-site Consultation surveys per year. 

In April, 2013 Todd was appointed Chief Administrative Officer for SCATS. He manages all aspects of the Nevada Consultation program at the three office locations in Las Vegas, Henderson, Reno and Elko. 

Todd is a 2004 graduate of Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health Management.  Todd holds a CSP designation from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, a CSHM from the Institute for Safety and Health Management and is a Certified Public Manager.
